3-5 Surveys and Middle/High School SurveysThese surveys are for anyone who would like an overview of their school's educational environment. Through the lens of the 8 Conditions, these surveys give students an opportunity to voice their feelings and opinions about their classes, their relationships with teachers, and their overall sense of the school's climate and culture. A school that is truly student-centered, seeks to foster student aspirations and motivation, and is willing to listen to the voice of all students. Reports collect responses under each Condition by gender and grade level.Staff SurveysThese surveys are for anyone who would like an understanding of their school's educational environment from the viewpoint of the adults who work with students. Through the lens of the 8 Conditions, these surveys give all staff members--classroom teachers, certified support staff, and support staff--an opportunity to voice their feelings and opinions about their school, their relationships with students, administration, and parents, and their overall sense of the school's climate and culture. A school that promotes aspirations seeks to foster motivation in each and every member of the community and is willing to listen to the voice of all stake-holders. Data collection is completely anonymous and reports provide responses under each Condition by total in agreement and are disaggregated by current role in school.Parent SurveysThose who work in schools understand the important role that parents play in their child's education. The My Voice© Parent survey gives schools the opportunity to hear from parents about their experience of the 8 Conditions That Make a Difference®. The survey asks both about parents' perceptions of their child's experience of school, as well as the parents own direct experience of the school's climate and culture. A school that promotes aspirations seeks to foster motivation in each and every member of the community and is willing to listen to the voice of all stake-holders. Data collection is completely anonymous and reports provide responses under each Condition by total in agreement. |
